I started my pottery life as a collector, acquiring work from galleries and high end craft shows. Inspired by what my husband and I collected, I have been making pottery since 2004. Now in my third career, (first as a classical musician, and second as a human resources executive), my ceramic education has been through classes and workshops of artists whose work I particularly respect and admire, including classes with Harriet Ross and workshops with Jeff Shapiro, Akira Satake, Jack Troy, Bruce Dehnert, Kristin Muller, Mary Barringer, Malcolm Davis and many others.
